for learning players, then

Late program 7pm onwards Monday evenings, excluding Public holidays

No personal financial gains for organisers
and no outside finance involved in our events.

Our program can handle all lifestyles:
Accessible for Casual players & working people.

Membership: A player joins the Mount Maunganui RSA ($50 annually) and then the chess club ($20 annually). Players under 18yrs old play for free and are not members, however their parent/guardian pays a fee on their behalf.
For other National level tournament players, who may only visit, we have a $10 Visitor Membership option.
Early Program 6:30pm Monday evenings, excluding public holidays
then Late program 7pm onwards Monday evenings,
excluding public holidays
