Early program 6:15pm Monday evenings, excluding Public holidays
for learning players of all demographics, then
Late program 7pm onwards Monday evenings, excluding Public holidays

2026 Membership Fees in summary:
A player joins the Mount Maunganui RSA ($40 annually) and
the chess club (Chess club fee is $25 annually), becoming a member.
Players under 18years old play for free and are not members, however their parent/guardian pays a fee on their behalf. For further details visit the chess club.
For visiting players, who may only visit, we have a $20 Visitor Membership option for
2026 National level registration. For further details visit the chess club.
